Hi, I’m Vesna. I’m a Clinical Psychologist and I love what I do. I became a psychologist because I truly value connecting with people, hearing their stories and coming along their brave journeys of self-exploration and development. Being a human is complicated and there are times that truly test us. Especially in this day and age when the number of competing demands and loud background noise of the world can feel overwhelming. However, I believe that each of us has an innate light and strength that will guide us and help us overcome life’s obstacles. It’s all you – I am here to help you along the journey, wherever you might be and help you uncover the light and strength that was there all along.

I have over a decade of combined training and practical experience. I completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Adelaide and am a registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. I am also a member of the Australian Psychological Society and College of Clinical Psychologists. I have worked with clients across the lifespan and have experience working across a number of settings, including forensic, educational, hospital, aged care and private sectors. I have experience providing both therapeutic and assessment services, including psychoeducational and autism assessments. I am also an accredited autism diagnostician with Autism SA. I strongly believe in creating a safe and nurturing therapeutic space, which is complimented by the use of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-based approaches, attachment-based intervention, skills-based and relaxation and stress management strategies. 

 

My therapeutic style is authentic, highly empathetic, gentle, fun and honest. My intention is always to meet you where you are at and to set therapeutic goals that are realistic and manageable within the scope of your life situation and context. I have a good sense of humour and a family of my own - meaning that I can fully appreciate both the immense love and chaos that come with day to day life. I cherish the opportunity to work with each and every one of my clients and look forward to the privilege of  walking alongside you on your journey.
